On 15 May 2023, the Government issued Decree No. 24/2023/ND-CP (replacing Decree No. 38/2019/ND-CP) regulating the basic salary for public servants
According to this Decree, from 1 July 2023, the basic salary applied to public servants will be increased from VND1,490,000/month to VND1,800,000/month.
Thus, the ceiling of social insurance and health insurance premiums for employees working in enterprises (equal to 20 times the basic salary of public servants) will increase from VND29,800,000/month to VND36,000,000/month.
